De Rederij

The De Rederij industrial site is an inner-city work location in Almere Buiten Oost, situated along Spectrumdreef. All the businesses are visible from the road, partly due to its elevated position. At De Rederij, entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to develop and construct a commercial building while only having minimal rules and legislation to comply with: this is referred to as the so-called 'Desired Way of Working'. Small and medium-sized enterprises carrying out small-scale craft, trade and service-based activities are represented here up to and including environmental category 2. The site boasts fibre broadband internet while for other facilities, the Almere Buiten shopping centre can be reached by bus. Most of this modern site of approx. 2.1 hectares net with its eye-catching architecture is still available. There are a number of businesses and organisations already present here including the ROC school, De Fietsfabriek and a number of office villas. Live/work units are further possibilities here. The industrial site is highly accessible and is only 2 minutes by car from the A6 (exit 7). The bus line runs alongside the site and there is a stop within walking distance where you can get a bus that will take you to Oostvaarders railway station and the centre of Almere Buiten.
